headphones don't seem to get much love on HFH. i began using them to listen at night when my wife is sleeping - but have grown to like it as its own listening experience.

this is in line with the theory that with prices above the first several thousand dollars, there is no longer a relationship between price and performance/enjoyment.
as pointed out above, it takes dictionaries time to catch up with the evolution of language. remember when "bummer" was slang? and what genius decided that the plural of vinyl would also be vinyl? i dont love the term "vinyls" - but if there is a sub-culture that uses that term for records...
the great thing about gummies is knowing and being able to adjust the dose. my perfect dose sits b/w 5 (start being aware of it) and 10 (being too aware of it). sticking with one brand/type helps when dialing in dosage.

try bookshelf speakers on the bookshelves. i put those A25s (thanks again!) on bookshelves in my studio and they make good music and i dont listen there critically. when guests are over there usually wouldnt be much critical listening, right? so imperfections in imaging, bass response etc...
