Selling an amplifier that a buddy of mine built up as a somewhat prototype. He sells these overseas to customers with a bit more audio jewelry and is getting some great feedback.

Up for sale is an Anaview AMS 1000-2600 module based amplifier. In it's current spec it's set up for XLR input only as we've found (through testing) that this amplifier sounds best when using it's XLR inputs, even when using a cheater plug for RCA.

This particular amplifier has brought me tremendous happiness as it's one of the best sounding pieces I've had the pleasure of using. I've been using it in an office environment where a mere 5W would do the trick, so this is a bit overkill. (specs found here http://www.anaview.com/sites/default/files/PDS AMS1000-2600-C.pdf )

The magic of this amplifier is that it sounds best without using an input buffer. However this also means that it has a relatively low input impedance (check specs) and requires an active linestage with capable drive. So weeny little preamps need not apply. BUT, if you can drive this amplifier, you'll be treated to one hell of a surprise. Easily resolving even the smallest differences in upstream changes.

I'm asking REDUCED TO $525 $475 OR BEST OFFER shipped CONUS. Paypal only.

Very impressive. Had never even heard of Anaview. This truly is the golden age of audio.

GLWS.

Thanks. With a little bit of digging you can find where this module goes toe to toe with big boy Hypex nCore modules but comes out victorious in most cases as it sounds more like Class A, than Class D.

The (now discontinued) Quicksilver Full Function Preamp would be a great match. Output impedance is 12.5 ohms. Plenty of output.

Bump. By the way this is the exact same amplifier that Apollon audio and Rouge audio are selling for more than $1k.

I had really been curious about this one. Just came at a bad time for $$. Whoever got it..enjoy!
