Today I picked up a set of Inity Accoustics Sound Abbsorption Panels. I had contacted Michael from Inity on Sunday. He had panels available in other colours, but as I requested the light tan, it would take a few days for him to get them ready. We arranged for pickup today, and he had them ready as promised. The panels were 4 feet by 2 feet, and 3 inches deep, which was a little thicker then I expected, but exactly what his specs said. They were well and cleanly finished. The materials are of good quality. The panels are filled with stone wool, and their acoustic properties are listed as the following:

Acoustic Properties
125 Hz = 0.52
250 Hz = 0.96
500 Hz = 1.18
1000 Hz = 1.07
2000 Hz = 1.05
4000 Hz = 1.05
NRC = 1.05 (very high Noise Reduction Coefficient)

Most importantly, how did they effect the sound in my room? Well, it was simply mind blowing. It was like I had a brand new system. Seriously. It's the best sound I have likely ever had. I just can't begin to describe how great a change they made to the sound of my system. Imaging locked into place. The soundstage became deeper, higher and wider. Bass became quicker and tauter. Every aspect of my system got better. It was incredible. Easily the best audio investment I have ever made.

2. I know that you posted about these panels a few years ago but I am wondering if you still have them in your listening room and if you still feel positively about them.
