Intro and my old system

Hi Dan, thank's for replying!
Here are the best shots I can make of it!
As you can see from the pictures the needle itself is gone, "Shure Hi Track" is on the front of the stylus.

I have a picture in the back of my head that the QL-7 came with a MD-1025 cartridge and DT-Z1TE stylus, but I can't really remember having changed it.

I hope it helps!

My M91E is the black flocked clip in style. The OE stylus that was installed has black finger grips with the Hi-Track sticker.

An OE stylus for your cartridge would be a N91E, but there is a lot of interchange between the M91, M92, M93, and V15 type II.

I don't know what is available in the EU, but I am running a LP Gear Vivid Line replacement stylus. They sound great in the M91 and my M97x.

I am sure that you have seen this chart, but, if not

@Romicans nice turntable. I had a tt81 for a while. If you end up needing the drive repaired it can be a bit of a journey to find the right tech, but they exist!
At some point in the past I had a suspicion about the speed control, but I haven't come that far yet to test it properly. I feel a bit lucky that I personally know a few very experienced electronic engineers, people who also build their own electronic devices. Unless it cost me a fortune, I will repair it.

Thank's a lot Dan, this info is very helpful, I have already located a few possible providers on eBay. And I will definitely store the chart in my archive for electronics.

Another welcome!

Looking forward to knowing you.
Thank's Anton!
I could start with telling you that my interests are widely spread, I'm seeking knowledge and understanding about the society, history and religion, politics, technology and science. For me it's vital to understand why things are the way they are.
