It's Sunday.....

It's Sunday and I've been working all damn weekend.

Have had music on in the background, but no serious listening as my brain is focused on the task at hand.

Hoping that everyone else has been able to listen and enjoy this weekend.

Played with a small two tube Nobsound HP amp this weekend. Now getting ready to watch the season opener of NHRA at Pomona. "Rev it UP!"

Spent the early part of the evening at a private screening, came home and watched the usual Sunday PBS shows and now listening to Gustav Leonhardt play Bach's Well Tempered Klavier on the harpsichord. Terrific recording on Deutche Harmonia Mundi. Rather cool hearing all of the non-musical harpsichord sounds along with the wonderful Bach.

Did you hear about the upcoming action movie about famous classical music composers? They’ve casted the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Sylvester will play Beethoven, Van Damme will play Mozart and Arnold will be Bach!

We just got the kids a golden retriever puppy last weekend.

So, I spent all weekend doing work around the house including putting up a fence for a dog run.

No music for me now for two weeks.

Yikes! Sorry to hear that. A horrible lot of such illness running around in this part of the world as well. All hale and healthy in our house, though. Sending healing vibes....

This is nothing to fool around with - I had double pneumonia in October. My lungs still haven't recovered.

Did you get the heavyweight antibiotics?

Thankfully, it was only in the upper lobe of my left lung - they put me on antibiotics (finished the course on Monday), told me to rest through the weekend, then be active as much as possible to help clear any remaining fluid from my lung. So far, so good.
