New Your Audio Show comes back to NYC Nov. 9-11, 2018

Since 2016 the New York Audio Show was hosted at the beautiful Park Lane Hotel.

My company reserved two suites, one dedicated to all Technics and our 2nd room audio systems are not finalized yet. Here's a few pic for our two suites at the 2017 NY Audio show:

Just finalized our 4 dedicated demo suites for the NY Audio Show. Here's what we're demoing in each room:

Room 902: Sound United, which is Marantz and Definitive Technology with two systems being demo'd with one new surprise system.

Room 903: All Technics with the flagship R1 Reference Amplifier and Floor Standing speakers and the new SL-1000R Turntable all in all a $100k system

Room 906: Dynaudio with the Contour 60 tower speakers powered by Octave's tube processor and two tube mono block amps. Plus one surprise system.

Room 908: GoldenEar Triton Reference floor standing speakers powered by Peachtree's high-end Nova300 integrated power amp.

We have a few nice audio enthusiasts accessories in each room to enhance our visitors experiences.

Hope to meet some Hi Fi Haven members!

Great pictures and enjoyed meeting and our conversation!

The pleasure was truly all mine Robert. That Technics system is an absolute Gem. Even in the space you had, it sounded absolutely fantastic. I was very bummed that they ran out of the Elvis album that was used in the Demo.

Thanks for the pics ! There's only the minor detail of a lottery win standing between me and one of those Palmer turntables.

That is some sexy looking Technics gear!

I am curious what a complete all Technics system would go for - I generally like all in one systems because the manufacturer has total control voicing the overall sound. I like reviewing complete systems as a result - Roksan for example gave me a completely different perspective when I heard their amp and CD player driving their speakers. Because then I could understand better what Roksan feels is the epitome of the best sound (at least at the budget).

I always like Technics back in the day and it is nice to see them making a pretty substantial comeback.
