ThanksThose are great pictures.
ahh, the old felt serenade...
(great photo, too!)
Sorry I managed not to quote the original source of that fine photo, to wit:We have a camel back Victrola in the basement. Does the inside of the lid on your unit have an illustration ?
Thanks DavidLooking good @4-2-7
I don’t think I’m destined for any McIntosh gear in me life lol
Are they supposed to have those changing light colours btw?
I play with all sorts of stuff, I'm a firm believer in hands on and within my own system and space. However it doesn't mean it will bump anything out of the main rig or not be added to it. I will setup tables and other gear in front of the system to hook it up and play through it.A Kenny DD table, you? Really?
Lots of parts available to fix these up a bit, they brand new needles in low med and high output. The reproducer can be rebuilt with new Mica and the gasket and is really easy to do. Here'a my Exposition just after I rebuilt it I think this was the first year for this TOTL head, it was 1915 we had the Panama Pacific Exposition for the opening of the Panama Canal and Worlds Fair here in SF. This is how we ended up with The Palace of Fine Arts.I think the "reproducer" is bad. Assuming that's the circular device above the needle. Speaking of which it came with spare needles
