They finally perfected the x-100 series. My dream camera (and I think it looks better than the current Leicas). I wish the lens was equivalent to a 23 instead of 35 but that’s what the wide angle adapter is for. Which I’m selling my old X-100s to buy. What a lovely thing that is. May you work together in joy!
Out of curiosity - how does it work out with the viewfinder and the different add-on lenses? I looked at some write-ups on the camera, but didn't manage to spot info on that detail. They finally perfected the x-100 series. My dream camera (and I think it looks better than the current Leicas). Ah, so perhaps (?) the optical viewfinder is fixed magnification and framing and composing with the additional lenses would just be video. That would make sense. I've had a couple of rangefinder-type optical viewfinders that zoomed with focal length changes, but in this case that really isn't an absolute necessity.I’m.... not sure. I’ve not had any of the ad on lenses yet. The viewfinder is hybrid... you can switch from a traditional just look-through glass to that with some digital overlays (like Terminator style) to a full video through the lens. I typically do through the lens as it hints at exposure.

I guess you'll just have to buy a couple of the extra lenses and see what happens! Always more fun that way...You can set it to know it has a lens adapter so perhaps the framing lines adjust.
I've got one of those Jupiter 12s (LTM 39mm)- use it on my Canon rangefinders.
How do you like the XE-3? I had an XE-1 for years that I took everywhere with me. Then I replaced it with an XPRO-2 that's been nothing but problems. Not sure what to do at this point.
Nice Soviet Biogon clone! I have the J-12 LTM too but the rear element of the J-12/LTM will hit the light baffles of the Fuji X due to the shorter film (sensor) > flange distance, LTM = 28.8mm vs. Contax/Kiev RF = 34.85mm.I've got one of those Jupiter 12s (LTM 39mm)- use it on my Canon rangefinders.
Ouch! I wasn't aware that the XPRO-2 is being problematic. Lovely camera, but if it doesn't work properly...How do you like the XE-3? I had an XE-1 for years that I took everywhere with me. Then I replaced it with an XPRO-2 that's been nothing but problems. Not sure what to do at this point.
When I got my J-12 LTM I was told it would hit light baffles in my Canon 7. Nope, works out perfectly.Nice Soviet Biogon clone! The first thing I did with it was take it to Paris where, first day, the LCD screen went out. So I spent the whole trip shooting through the viewfinder like its a 'real' film camera, instead of just looking like one. No big deal but annoying. They replaced the body on warranty after trying to fix the screen, and then on my next trip, to California, the shutter started to have an intermittent problem. It hangs up every so often for seemingly no reason, ruining this or that shot- and not enough to easily replicate to a tech besides showing him the frames it screwed up. I can get around that by using the electronic shutter, but I don't like the soulless 'tick' it makes, and it sometimes isn't as good as the physical shutter when there's movement in a shot. It also just doesn't seem to work as well overall as my XE-1 did, or my X-100v (which I LOVE).Ouch! I wasn't aware that the XPRO-2 is being problematic. Lovely camera, but if it doesn't work properly...
