Altec. A wine I refuse to drink. Because I have enough obsessions, thank you very much. Thank goodness I can live Vicariously through you Woody!
What are the external dimensions of the cabinets, Woody?
(oh, and yes, laid back is probably and apt description for the 32C horns, but if you have a somewhat spicy driver like an 802-8G or an 808-8B, they get a little livelier - thanks again for the horns, BTW, I'm enjoying the shit out of 'em!)
The motor board removable on those?
As far as options go, maybe you go ahead and build a motor board that allows you to once and for all mount the 32 inside.
Altec 414 + JELabs OB?
Paging @je2a3 :) Have you ever experemented with running the Altec 414 in the OB you published on your site? I'm wondering what that would sound like paired with an Altec 32B horn with 802 driver? Maybe run the 414 full range and use a cap ( in the best @J-ROB and @je2a3 tradition, of course...hifihaven.org
Everything is a compromise in this hobby. We just have to make our own.

I really like those cabinets, Woody!
Option 5) Buy my Fostex FW405 and put them in those cabinets. Bass problems: solved.
Man... I don't wanna buy stuff. I have more crap than I need already!

You say that, but this thread stands in stark contrast! 😁
I have a pair of Goodmans Triaxiom 212 Alnico drivers with a pair of ARU’s. They need a 4.5 cubic foot box to work.if true, goodmans = good stuff
i had a goodmans coaxial; was nice
