Gotcha .Moode, it seems to just sound the best according to most. A sweet sounding combo with Audirvana for sure.
will download.

Note there is a setup guide, though I've seen lots of ingrate complainers complain about it, acting as if they had paid something for the software (they hadn't) and are due some in depth owners manual of some sort.Gotcha .

Worth taking a look at, and if something is unclear, we of course have several Moode aficionados here that can answer any setup questions.
Yes over UPnP, so you would use the following configuration (click the little M at the upper right-hand corner for the menu drop down):Thanks
And Moode will talk to Audirvana in some way?
Yes over UPnP, so you would use the following configuration (click the little M at the upper right-hand corner for the menu drop down):
Audio -> UPnP/DLNA -> UPnP Client for MPD -> ON (give it a name) -> Set
Turn all other Renderers OFF, and also turn the DLNA Server in Moode OFF (Audirvana is your server and is far superior in that regard).
In the MPD config:
EDIT -> Audio Output -> USB Audio (or the DAC's name if it self reports it) -> SAVE
EDIT -> Volume Control -> Disable -> SAVE
Is this good for Roon too?Yes over UPnP, so you would use the following configuration (click the little M at the upper right-hand corner for the menu drop down):

No Moode does not have a Roon Bridge mode, although I've heard the Squeezelite Renderer mode works with Roon but I've never personally tried it and don't know what is involved on the Roon Core (server) end, probably just a few clicks. Is this good for Roon too?
I'm just thinking for experimentation purposes. Compare Roon to Audirvana during the test period. No Moode does not have a Roon Bridge mode, although I've heard the Squeezelite Renderer mode works with Roon but I've never personally tried it and don't know what is involved on the Roon Core (server) end, probably just a few clicks.
If you want a distro that easily switches back and forth between Roon Bridge and DLNA/UPnP, that would likely be RoPieeeXL. I personally prefer to just get another microSD card and swap it out that way, but YMMV.
Easiest with RoPieeeXL, unless someone wants to chime in on use of Squeezelite with Roon.I'm just thinking for experimentation purposes. Compare Roon to Audirvana during the test period.

I don't suppose you'd had any experience comparing Moode with PiCorePlayer have you? That's what I'm currently using...
