I‘ve recently fixed and upgraded some crossovers on a pair of pi-4 speakers, I’m a fan. Mine have the cheaper Eminence drivers and sound great. I suspect that with yours using premium drivers/parts, are just more of a good thing. Looking forward to your impressions, they look great!

Been really busy but put them on an SS amp with techno music on a loop for break in... matching walnut stands should be here soon then I’ll put them back in for a good listen and let you know.

I considered those before going the GPA Duplex route... it was close. The thing that swayed me was the reputation of the JBL drivers liking a bit of juice to "come alive". Their Qms - suggestive of mechanical losses - is about the minimum I'd think is almost okay for lower-level (moderate-level?) listening and low power SE amps, but I'd prefer something approaching Qms=10 (or greater).

I'm curious about your experiences with them in your system.
