Oh, no! Art Dudley's gone...

This was terrible news to me. Art was much more than just a writer, at least to me. It was mainly due to his influence that I came back to vinyl, restored an old Garrard 401, built a plinth, mounted a tonearm. I never knew back in earlier days of HiFi just how great analog could sound. His influence also caused me to change speaker systems from Dynaudio Contour 5.4, to my custom-built Tannoy HPD's, and then tube amps. Basically all my gear is now tube based, and finally I found what I was hoping for in the last forty plus years. For that I will always be grateful for Art's tremendous skill, knowledge, humor, and wit.

Loved him. RIP Art.

His widow has also listed Art’s Audio Note AN-Vx interconnects on EBay.

It was sad to read the ads.

I had never read Listener mag, but enjoyed Art's pieces in Stereophile. Stumbled across this today, and it kind of reinforces the sense of loss his passing created.

I wish there were a way to get the *entire* Listener catalog online - hell, I'd even pay a subscription fee as unfortunately I only have 4 or 5 issues.
