Component Noise with room treatments?

After going back and forth with GIK on doing some acoustic treatments for my room, I have come up with a plan, but then became aware of the fact that component noise could be exacerbated in the room because of how the treatments will quiet the room. My concern is mainly the servo controller for my sub, which has a slight hum at idle and also the power conditioner/isolation transformer that also has a teensy hum at idle. The Servo controller can be heard in the room already, the PC/IT hum can only be heard when within 2ft of the unit.

My question is, of those who have done room treatments, how have you dealt with any component noise like this? I'd like to think I could ignore it, but I know that I wont be able to and it will drive me crazy if its any louder, which it sounds like it will be after the treatments.

I will also add that it would be great if I had another room to put these components in, so that the hum is behind a door, but that's not tenable with the layout of the room.

If they are stand-alone units could you build small absorption boxes, possibly using Rockwool, around them? Or if heat is an issue place a small absorption panel between the component and the listening position?
 
Wouldn't the room treatments also reduce the amount of noise bouncing around the room from those components?
That's what I thought too, but the person I'm working with said this: The treatment could make any low level hum or hiss more audible yes. It has a way of bringing out details. For better or worse.

That's why I wanted to see what others might have done to mitigate anything like this.

The servo controller box is about 10x15x4 with heating on the side and the PC is 10x12x6. I think the PC would need more airflow than the Servo Controller. The Servo controller has never gotten hot from what I have seen even after hours of playing.

I listen in the basement and I have been considering doing some absorption panels on the block wall next to my HVAC which is in the adjoining room. I figure anything that helps reduce other noises will help.

I'm in our newly remolded basement as well.

Even if you don't buy from them, you can use the GIK room tool and draw out your room and place stuff in there. And then they will run the calcs to place treatments in the room, which you could use as a template for your room and potentially building your own.

I drew it up and then sent it off to them to fine tune.

They have also been no pressure with regards to "selling me", so I wouldn't let that dissuade you from using it. It sounds like they are experiencing break neck demand right now, but have been super helpful thus far.
