Agreed. And I lived through it!Why are they in a fake forest? The '70s made no sense whatsoever.

Oh, yeah, the chicks loved that stuff. So I had a few Bread albums myself. When I was in college (late 70s - early 80s) every girl had a copy of "Best of Bread" in her collection.
I promise I did not buy it....
My condolences . Although I must say the absolute worst Christmas album I've heard is one with Jackie Gleason conducting. How about an original TOPS Ultra-Phonic Sound High Fidelity Recording album? This was one of my dad's LPs that he would play on his console record player .

I’d rather sit on a trans-continental flight with a glottal insomniac Tibetan throat singer with restless leg syndrome babysitting a newborn teething chimpanzee with a flatulence issue than hear Mariah Carey or Paul McCartney trot out their holiday pablum even once.Agreed - the Bela Fleck Xmas album with the Tibetan throat singer is...special :-)
I actually want to hear this now…How about an original TOPS Ultra-Phonic Sound High Fidelity Recording album? This was one of my dad's LPs that he would play on his console record player .

Amen to that!I’d rather sit on a trans-continental flight with a glottal insomniac Tibetan throat singer with restless leg syndrome babysitting a newborn teething chimpanzee than hear Mariah Carey or Paul McCartney trot out their holiday pablum even once.
Huzzah!
Hey- anything that isn’t forced down my throat via clearchannel, network tv or typical innocuous department store piped in drivel is okay by me. As stale as it may be, it’s fresh compared to the same-old, same-old….How about an original 1957 Capital Records High Fidelity recording of "now is the Caroling Season" by Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians? Betcha gonna want to hear that now too.
I really liked the movie "The Crying Game" but not familiar with BG's cover of the soundtrack. There's at least one Culture Club LP here, but its my wife's, I swear. We're well tied into the local gay/queer/queen scene due to my wife's occupation being an erotic/fetish photographer. They're fun people but man, I can only take the music in very small doses. My college best friend had Culture Club as one of her favorite bands and I rapidly burned out on it... just not my thing.
I actually really like Boy George's cover of The Crying Game, from the soundtrack of the movie. I like simple memorable guitar riffs, though I can't figure out if that song uses a baritone guitar or bass for the riff. I somehow doubt that its in this groups' bucket of knowledge
