Be the coolest kid on the bus with these awesome leather-lined earmuffs that also play music (wonderfully). In addition to keeping your ears warm for the winter, these little-used, because I'm not really a headphone guy, headphones are kind of like if you shot Magnepans with a shrink-ray and then strapped them to your head. I mean that in a good way. I believe they're the first generation of these well-thought-of ear-speakers.
They're wonderful sounding headphones. Warm but detailed, just the way I like things. My only note is that they do require a headphone amp or a good, non-afterthought, headphone output to shine. I used them on my Leben CS-300 x, unbalanced, and my BMC PureDAC, balanced. Which suggests correctly that I have both the balanced and unbalanced cables for them. Why am I selling them? One, I really only listen to headphones when traveling and dragging a gasoline generator and my Leben on the airplane is tough these days with TSA working on no-pay. Two, I need to help my wife pay for her new camera.
$400 Haven-only price. Stand not included. But its pretty, no?
