I'm going off of this specification:

More or less (they're 1.5" taller, 1.75" narrower, and 0.75" shallower - so theoretically about half a cubic foot smaller in volume - and the port is quite a bit larger) but they're certainly trying for that aesthetic.

Tip: the way to prune an acer palmatum dissectum is to lie on your back underneath the tree and work your way outward. Ideally, you end up with a single layer of foliage that allows the structure to be seen. (I worked for my dad's landscape architect company as a teen and learned the ropes)

Totally agreed. I was more trying to point out that less critical / less expensive amplification could be used for the bottom couple of octaves to drive a lower-sensitivity sub for the budget-conscious (like me). :)
