I made it about 15 minutes. Don't believe I heard him actually answer a single question but did hear him obscure of a lot of fact.

    The Callout by GoldenSound

Pretty much. I've always found it very interesting that the existence of the most significant piece of the puzzle is steadfastly refused and super-human abilities attributed in its place. Also, "hi-fi" is an entertainment business. 1) There's no accounting for taste and 2) has the audibility...

frugel-horn flat pack; what do you think?

I don't think the hose idea is going to work well. It's too compressed and the corners of the chamber will be void.

    Tonearm bearing repair

Working on my photography today. As I work on rather small things I've decided I need to do better than an iPhone. Pictures sell. The fruit of my experimentation today are some 5:1 macro shots of a 3/64" ruby ball bearing. Yes, I need to clean the camera sensor (swabs are inbound). If only...

Tagging Needle-drops before import to Roon?

No it doesn't show up at all, and it doesn't show in skipped files either. Haven't even looked at it yet - just discovered it today.

    watches anyone?

I traded a 4.3GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive for this back in later 1990-something. Since then: - The hard drive is practically worthless, while the watch will always be worth its weight in gold; - I now know how ridiculous I looked wearing it, with jeans and a t-shirt no less.

Tagging Needle-drops before import to Roon?

Awesomeness. Now I just need to figure out why my third version doesn't show up at all.

Tagging Needle-drops before import to Roon?

That's old Roon. In new Roon it's buried. I have to tell it to use the file for album title otherwise you have to open the album to see what it is, and that only tells you sometimes.

Repairing a 100 year old rolling gate - any advice?

https://bearingsdirect.com/track-roller-ball-bearings-lr-series/lr5201nppu-track-roller-ball-bearing-12x35x15-9-lr5201-2rs Not sure how much the diameter is going to matter in your application Found this with a quick search from my phone. Is the running surface of the channel flat or concave...

Repairing a 100 year old rolling gate - any advice?

You don’t need wheels - the bearings are your wheels.

Repairing a 100 year old rolling gate - any advice?

Looks like the width is narrower but that may not matter depending on the channel opening. Also possible to insert a unistrut in to the existing channel. On the other hand, flat piece of metal, two bearings, and a shaft would get you in business. You wouldn’t need to secure the bearings on to...

    Tonearm bearing repair

Here's a difficult-to-get top-shot of the pins. The dark spots you see around 6 o'clock are indentations from the balls. If the bearings are adjusted too tight shallow troughs will form, otherwise the damage is from force. On the far right pin you can just make out another indentation at 9...
