A custom mini 311-90 horn.

So, a client requested a mini version of the Altec 311-90 horn to fit certain dimensions. Below is my version with the WE 32A inspired throat expansion.

That looks pretty darn cool. What are the dimensions?

Not to derail this thread (it may have been covered already), what about a larger version of the 604 horn (2x3=6cell, in a 808’esque size?).

That's your 802-B driver.

Can cross at 700Hz. But, the client wants to cross a bit higher.

Spent a bit more time smoothing out the throat transition section. Also calculated the center of gravity for the whole assembly.

Oh man. Those cleaned up nice!... the color threw me off.

Did you happen to swap in the original diaphragm? Curious if you could hear any difference.

Private labeled - Can't talk much about it. But, it's one of the best sounding small horns I've ever heard. A few sneak pics for fellow Havenites!

Working on a 500Hz version. Same body, two swappable adapters. One for the standard Altec 80X drivers; The other for the Altec 288.
