My 605a’s have these big midrange humps centered at 450 hz and probably 850 or so. I also notice they have very little goo on the surrounds compared to all my other Altec woofers without midrange humps. Hmmm is there a connection…? Why the goo?
Altec experts…will the goo cure the humps?
