Any other fans of the former Anthony Gallo Acoustics?

Those look like some lovely old Dynaudio drivers. I always felt Dynaudio was a better driver maker than speaker maker. I bet they sound great.

Yes, the early Solo and Reference series did use Dynaudio drivers. The frame was modified to better mate with the spherical enclosure, and to lower its high frequency roll-off, additional mass was added to the driver. This additional mass could be seen on very early models as it was external, but Anthony later moved it to the inside of the center-cap.

I've never owned Gallo, but had a good demo with some Classico CL-3's once. Really nice wide dispersion from those tweeters.
