Anyone Heard the Wiim Amp Ultra?

What about the Ford LTD, was it actually limited? I doubt there was anything limited about it, and some say LTD did not mean "limited" at all, with various other suggestions including "Luxury Trim Decor", or "Lincoln Type Design" being posited and Ford never actually officially commenting on it, they didn't mind if it were left ambiguous or even a bit mysterious.
Lol.. I always say "limited to all they can sell" when I see limited editions.

When I worked for a Ford dealership in the 70's we called the LTD. "Latest Trash from Detroit "

It’s like they actually listen to their customers and improve their products based on what they hear from their customers.
It’s funny, my employer says all the time one of the main pillars of our business model is that we are customer-centric. That may be the goal but my opinion is that the main pillar is we are investor-centric. And not just any investor but the large institutional investors. This pillar overrules any other and has a detrimental effect to any others.

The way of the world these days it seems, actually not just these days but for a very long time now for altogether too many companies and industries.

WiiM parent Linkplay Technology seem to have struck a chord with very competent/capable hardware that doesn't break the bank, coupled with excellent software and ongoing software/firmware development and support. A winning formula that various others have struggled to implement/achieve for years now.

I have heard that the latest versions of Denon/Marantz HEOS are very stable/good, though the hardware is considerably more expensive, and they've never really tried to hit the lowest price points that WiiM have. I doubt that will change with Harman at their helm, whose brands have always aimed mid-level and up, they don't seem too terribly interested in The Doorway market share.

I have a WiiM Ultra in my bedroom set up. I prefer the usability over the Eversolo that is in my main system. Sounds pretty good with the organic DAC but sounds much better with a DDC from the USB out to a dedicated DAC. I really like it.

You won’t regret it. One of the finest pieces of audio gear I’ve ever owned.
I already own three lower level WiiM Pro and Pro Plus models and at least a couple of WiiM Minis. Have been happy with them all. They are used mostly to stream using Roon and the optical outputs feeding a standalone DAC. This new Ultra version is attractive to me because it makes setting up a very simple system easy.

I think that the most powerful word in the marketing lexicon just might be... bespoke.
Mind you, if I could think of a way to use bespoke as a lever to claw my way back on-topic about Wiim products -- I would.
Really, truly.
OK, I'll stop now.
Bespoke functionality?
