I'm booked again - flights and hotel. Anyone else considering it?

2nd year in a new (larger) hotel. Last year the "growing pains" of a move to a new venue seemed pretty minimal and I'm sure a few wrinkles will be ironed out this time around.

I know an audio show in a hotel with a bunch of social odd-balls playing the same Diana Krall album ad infinitum isn't everybody's cup of tea around this place, but I find them interesting and worth the time/effort. As was discussed in a previous thread, there's always some very cool new gear to hear/see, interesting people to talk to, and usually some good new music to add to the library. Yes, the potential for audio douchebaggery is probably high, but if you can find the opportunity not to dwell on that, it can actually be kind of fun.

Unfortunately, that ADB is the first thing I think of when I think about going again.

I have no idea who you could be referring to.

You could probably paint me with a detail brush. I may go, though...it depends on if I'm in town. I tend to be traveling for work that time of year.

Come on down! Tickets go on sale December 1st.
I’ve wanted to go for the past two years but events just didn’t allow for it. No excuses for AXPONA 2019.

There’s always a planned vacation day for a long weekend :D

I'd chip in for a Haven room. Might be fun. Could probably be talked into bringing some front-end gear. Not dragging the Heathkits anywhere more than a few inches. There are some reasonable sized Harbeths who's owner is attending I believe.

We could probably make a nice system with just the stuff DC and I have boxed up.
