Thanks! Im nearly certain it is an Eastern gartersnake with some kind of toad.

I shoveled a leech in half while digging a hole for a frog pond.

I threw the leech halves into the 300 gallon that gets runoff from my roof. 3 or 4 days later I see this.

Unusual but happens from time to time, bobcats in the ’hood. This is me taking a picture over my back fence into my neighbor’s yard.

I used to get many of the eastern black swallowtail caterpillars, and the butterflies, when I grew dill in the backyard. The butterflies came back for a few years even after I stopped growing dill.

We get hundreds and try and raise/overwinter a couple of dozen. The yellow form is rare in our yard lately. lots and lots of Monarchs as well.

These little fellas hang out every night, they’ve gotten a little bit bigger since these were taken a couple weeks back (good food source). There’s at least two per pic if you zoom in.
