Best Speaker Connection

If you have a high pressure ratcheting style crimper and the correct die for your connector size, there shouldn't be any need for solder. This assumes a copper connector, not brass.

Something like this works quite well, the pressure is so high that the wire and connector become one, literally melted together, they can never be separated. If you release the tool and quickly touch the crimp spot it's briefly hot enough to burn your fingers.
@MikeyFresh what styles of connectors does this work on? bananas which are copper and designed to be crimped? or others also? thanks

I have these tellurium copper, gold plated banana plugs from Audio Advisor, no affiliation.
High current flow and low resistance, these one-piece solid connectors from Pangea Audio are machined from 100% Tellurium Copper then coated with pure 24 Carat Gold. Other connectors may be shinier, but none are made from higher purity materials.
I must have bought these when I had money…before retirement. LOL

For best SQ, in theory bare wire cranked down (can I hear this? NO)
For convenience? Bananas
