Just returned from CAF 2024. Well attended show. I made a few short videos of 3 interesting rooms(Bayz, Slagle/Semrad and G.I.F.) Two of the videos feature field coil drivers.

My guess is SQ is a bit thin (audiophile sounding).

It was not too thin sounding. A bit colored , but quite full. Same as for the G.I.F. room next door. Both were visual feasts.

My show favorite was not on most folks top 5 or top 10 lists for favourite speaker. It was the little Boenicke from Switzerland. I’m a bit biased, as I love small speakers in small rooms. I use Ensemble PA-1 mini monitors.
