Hi, I just found out about this place.
Longtime audiophile and music lover, I started the Chicago Audio Society back in '94 and occasionally attend meetings. It's not the same group I started, so with the help and participation of others, we may start another group.
I listen to most kinds of music and like hearing about good music that's well recorded. Vinyl is my passion, and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to cartridge setup. People pay me to do that for them, and I love always seeing the looks on their faces when they hear a lot more on their records than they though was there.
Anyway, enough about that. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to get together.

Yes...I just ordered some capacitors to replace in the mid/bass cabinet crossovers since the original ones aren't all that great. I already have the helium tanks. Mostly a mattter of soldering in the caps and putting the woofers back in. Everything else is ready to go.

I didn't actually work on the Bergmann table, since they were disorganized and didn't know how to work the controls while I was there...and as you can see I was pretty busy. That would have been a good one to dial in, since the cartridge was an Airtight Opus-1 (top of the line).
