Now that we have our black and white theme off to a pretty good start let's see your color photography.

I'll start with colorful and sunny as its really gloomy and grey here today. This is from the first roll of actual 35mm film that I've shot in over 15 years. Shot 2 weeks ago to just get the feel for it again on my new-to-me Canonette QL-17 GIII rangefinder.

You might :-) want to try some of the old-school, pure-play analog methods of abstract color photography. This one is a long-time personal fave; dangle a flashlight (colored light, although I suspect this one was colored ex post facto) on a string above a camera; start the string oscillating in two dimensions (i.e., start it swinging in an ellipse) and open the shutter. Do a multi-exposure of a few of these, and -- voila!. A great Chet Atkins album cover!

The other, more organic way to do it -- a digital camera, a dark space, an open shutter, and a "model"* running around with a flashlight or laser pointer (not too bright, please -- and no aiming at airplanes!).
