It helps someone trying to decide what replacement to buy for sure.
Too bad he had not had some paper diaphragms to compare, I am really pleased with mine in 802 8g drivers.

Fantastic video, @Tom Brennan and @kwingylee ! I'm thinking of buying a backup pair of phrams from Simply Speakers for my 604-8Gs. I'm unclear however whether or not they're simple drop in identical fit to the OEMs.

It seems that sometimes the alignment holes of the SS units need reaming out with a drill bit, otherwise a good fit.

Yeah, and a friend of ours uses them. We neglected taking about phenolics as well. We'll get there, we endeavor to persevere.

Maybe in the follow up video, you can also cover nuts and bolt of actually replacing the diaphragm and the fun job of cleaning out the gap with masking tape.
