I still want to get a DL-103 variant for my TD-124. Would it work ok on a Stax UA-7cf? I know its not ideal but I recall you having that arm (I think).

I do have a Stax UA-7cf. And a 9" arm mount for the RX1500VG. Hmmmmmm.

Have you had the DL-103 on the UA-7cf? It's what I currently have on the TD-124, though it often has my FR-24mkII on it. I see some esoteric variants of the 103 pop up on ebay now and then and am curious to try one out (I like weird oddball stuff).

I have not tried the UA-7cf and DL103 together. Been gravitating toward high mass 12" arms with high mass headshells with the DL103.

I've been tempted by this, but I already re-bodied one of my DL-103r carts in a Paradox Pulse aluminum body.

How difficult was it to remove the body?

And how does it sound?

I put mine in a stone body, and yes -- it does improve performance over the stock plastic shell.

It's a simple enough procedure if you're not totally ham-fisted. An X-Acto knife and a file are all that's needed.

My buddy borked one up once, and his sage advice to me was "Don't try to do it when you're drunk."

Nice thing about the. https://www.denonaluminumbody.com solution is that one does not have to remove the plastic body.

Just a quick interjection: I am the designer for the Aluminum Body Cap (aka the Cap).
