One of my buddy is interested in this design and want me to build it for him. I am checking with the member to see anyone have experience with this design.

The final version he was using a C3M. I am more interested in the PS design.

Pentode tube EF86, C3M always has creamy sound. Sweet. I love it. I just got a pair ElectraPrint 3k OPT, so would like to try the classical combos 6c6 + 300B.

That is a lot of dissipation for the 300B.
The filament supply isn't shown, which is odd.
The EL84 as a pentode is a great driver.
If you have an old tube regulated bench power supply, you could get a decent approximation for the sound of the amp by lashing together one channel. There is a significant omission in the power supply schematic where a 6AS7 and the EF86 share a heater winding, but no specific biasing up of that winding is shown.

I'm having a tough time swallowing the 6.3V/10A you're going to need for the regulator section.

I was looking over the tubes in my T.L. 300B amp and stumbled across this thread. Did you end up building it? I’m quite happy with mine and will comment more on my amp thread.
