Hello ,
this is my first posting and I hope you understand my school english . I an 69 years old and my hobby is diy with tubes . I have a big collection of European tubes , mostly the professional types like E88CC , D3a , F2a and so on . I have 3 EMT turntables , 927 , 938 and 948 with different systems . All amplifiers are diy . My loudspeakers are an open baffle system with four Fane 24 "Colossus" and JBL 2360 with BMS 4592 and a VOTT .raum1.jpgraum2.jpg

My equipment for measurements is here , a Rohde + Schwarz UPL and the RTX 6001 from the diyaudio group buy .

Wow, what a system, welcome!

Would love to hear more about it, especially the "open baffle system with four Fane 24 "Colossus" and JBL 2360 with BMS 4592". I'm intrigued by the idea of a co-axial compression driver (BMS 4592) and have never heard of anyone using a JBL 2360 - or 4 x 24" drivers on an open baffle - in a home listening room before. Co-axial driver on the horn, woofers above and below the horn - kind of an insanely large point-source system that might just work in a regular sized room - pretty cool. Actually makes the VOTTs look small. :)

Hello ,
and thanks to all for your nice welcome . A word to the open baffle system . It is active , for the first time I use a Behringer active crossover with three tube poweramps . One push pull from Klein und Hummel with EL86 and two se amps for mids and high with RE604 , 1,5 watts :) .
My room in the basement of my house is 7,5 x 5 meters with an extra small room for measuring and soldering .
Here is a picture from my listening position with a few radio relay receivers for FM in the back ( Rohde + Schwarz EU6201 and Telefunken EBU 3173/3 with nuvistors ) .

I think , I am a little bit a messie , but with system ......
Take a look at the high tech lighting for the room :D:D:D .
