If you’ve a price in mind that makes it worth your while, let me know. It still have that Aleph Ono sitting here doing nothing too.

Well I said I didn't really want to ship, but I do have one of the boxes so it's not absolutely impossible. I don't think the box would fit in my car to take it to the fedex (used to have a wagon, now a sedan) but it might.
When I bought my Oracle Delphi through eBay, I first bought and paid for Oracle to ship an original Oracle shopping box to Washington (state of) to ensure that it arrived safely at my door. It didn't make the deal any cheaper or quicker, but it did arrive ok.

Would love to listed to them, but can't (or at least shouldn't) buy. I can bring distilled beverage to share, and no Diana Krall, but also no chequebook. Sorry.

I, like you, would have to re-imagine my "living situation" for them to be of any use here. Alas.
Ha, sounds a bit like a certain local guy I know. Well, I guess you did not actually say, "I forgot my checkbook, I have no cash, can't remember my PayPal, but I will take them."

Funny story about him...

If you're local and could pick these up I'd sell them for $1000. That's less than the cost of the rebuild.

I only have one shipping box so shipping is not really doable.

Hi John. If they will fit in an 08 Accord and you can wait until Sunday March 8th at the latest for me to pick up, I will buy them. Can you give me box dimensions and speaker dimensions? I can live without the box. Im thinking one could fit in trunk with back seat folded down and the other upright vertical behind front seats with the seats moved forward? If you give dimensions Ill figure it out. Good thing the eico and lux have sold lol. I may very well come up this weekend (from Columbus) but I have the following Friday off and know I can make it that weekend. If neither work then the following weekend, etc. You arent coming to Columbus anytime soon are you? Thanks!

So glad that Thin_Ice is going for it, so I don't have to go back and start reading reviews again....

While this would be a great development I cannot see them fitting in a sedan. One would fit in the trunk with the seat folded down but I don't know where the other would go? One would take up the entire front of the car.

I will measure them tonight to be sure but they were brought to me in an SUV.

Maybe the 2nd could fit “sideways upright” behind the seats(not sure if this is a good idea)? Or if its warmer, I could do what they did with grandma in vacation? :) Would need to investigate temperature further before going this route. Or wait a few weeks longer to warm up? I know you want to clear house asap though. Very, very admirable btw. Thanks!

The issue isn’t just dimensions it’s orientation and care in transport. They’re fragile speakers. Ideally they should be transported upright. At worst laying down. I don’t think these are going anywhere without an suv or minivan sadly.

I may have a prior line on these locally with a store so hold off for now. Not wanting to waste anybody’s time.

I dont want to hear you, but I do. I’ll rent an SUV if things dont work out locally. Thanks and good luck (probably best for me not to spend coin, but I want these bad :))

I just don’t think you’d be happy spending $1000 on speakers that get home with damaged membranes, arcing and shorting your amp.
