A minty 1964 Fender Princeton Reverb. I replaced all tubes and all caps. 10" speaker is original and the EIA code is 137, making it a CTS.
Gonna run it thru it's paces tomorrow. Bet it will sound sweet in all of it's Class-A PP glory!

Did you perform some modifications to make it run in class A? The stock circuit will make 3-5 watts class A.

That amp is really clean for its age, I've worked on amps made in the last two or three years that looked older than that!

No...it's by design. 2) 6V6GT = 12 watts....same as my old Audio Note Class-A amp.

Well, Barry came over with his custom built Stratocaster...and we played around for an hour. Man, this thing chimes! Played real clean until we put the coals to it....and then it got just the right amount of snarl and grunge to it. No wonder why the studio guys love these things!

My tweed de lux 5F3 clone built in jan 2017,its´a real blues stinger combined with my tele/esquire!(VanZandt true vintage pickups)
The amplifier gives you a very smooth overdrive tone with great tube compression and if you play with less power it will give you an unrivaled amazing tone that must be experienced!

I used to play bass....but a stroke many years ago took that away. Last year, I fixed the bass back up and will eventually get me a small amp.
