These are about the rarest speakers that I have ever owned. Even searching Google, there is very little out there on these and most of it is in Japanese as I think these were designed for the Japanese market. I've referred to them in other threads, but I figured its time they had their own...

These are great transformers. I hope that someone picks them up for a project - they'll be happy they did.
In case anyone is interested in the history of Tango transformers, they were the favorite of many of the people who helped restart the single ended amplifier craze in the 1990s. The company making them has ceased operation a few times with the core technical team buying the assets and continuing production under new management each time. Thomas Mayer wrote an interesting blog post the last time this happened back in 2014. There are now two companies claiming to make Tango transformers but the European vendor claims that only one of them is legit. Of course that's the one that they represent.
Avoid all that drama and buy these from Nate!
