Good quality, Unfancy Speaker Cable ?

PS DH labs T14...excellent and affordable.
I still plan on that for my office setup, which is turning out to be the fun system. The anti-cables have always intrigued me after seeing them in person at a booth at RMAF. I need to figure out my speaker situation before I dig into amp situation.

My main system required two 50' runs of speaker cable and I used 14g flat cable from StraightWire. It's done its job admirably and wasn't that expensive for how much I needed. AND... it hid very well against the wall trim.

The anti-cables are thin but solid so they can be somewhat conspicuous if not "shaped". I've only used their original formula in a vintage context and liked them very much. I was able to get a roll from Speltz Audio as I didn't see any need for connectors. I prefer bare wire into a quality binding post and even put high quality binding posts on my vintage gear.

Maybe because it was a vintage set up, the midrange clarity I attribute to a lack of dialectic really worked well.

I'd like to replace the speaker cable in my system, but while I want something of good quality, I'm not looking to support the manufacturers marketing department too.

So I'm looking for some really high quality copper cable, that isn't too think. Probably need about 16 feet total.

Any thoughts?
PM, I bought these 4 or 5 months ago and they are, IMHO, quite good. They took a good while to settle in though. Steve is in Toronto and has a 30 return policy.

I have Dueland wire but it is the older type that had to be twisted into pairs. I could mail it to you to try. I found it to be a bit bright. YMMV

@Drugolf
Time with you wire... report? 😴
I've used them now with a few different systems and speakers etc. Right now with some AR3 and a Marantz 250 until this morning and now a Kenwood Basic M2. I am pleased with the sound but with how much I am moving things around I probably don't provide a good barometer.

Cool,
I bought 100 feet... still in the closet aging. 🙄
I have couple changes in order before I implement it, just curious.
@Redboy Nate could chime in again.

For inexpensive but decent quality I like the wireworld mini eclipse. If you can go beyond that, anything from Audioquest from the folk heroes or mythical creatures is quite exceptional. I swore I’d never be an AQ dealer when I started the business, but the direction they are on right now is revelatory.

I was so impressed that my initial investment in about $15k of cables jumped to $80k after getting ears on it. I have five dragon power cables on order because they really are that damn good.

At the bare minimum, OCC is a must.
