Greetings from Ohio

And so the project begins... It rained today, so my wife’s plans for me didn’t work out. I started messing around with some scrap wood. The first picture is an 808-8a on the 414z donor (Seville). The other speaker is the other metal horn on one of my La Paz. The gnome was made by my wife. Kind of reminds me of the scene in Dr. Strangelove. Cheers.

So, these followed me home a few weeks ago. These were a Altec rescue from a basement. Yes, apparently that is a thing. They were left in the basement by the previous home owner and the person just wanted to reclaim the space. Pair of A7-500 in 825s with 802D and 416-16A. One of the 416s will need reconed or replaced. I added the smaller port. It doesn’t appear that the horns had ever been on top as I put them. This will be a late fall/winter project. Not sure what where I am going with them yet. Just an opportunity that presented itself. I was told they can live in the basement (maybe with me?). C811243E-BF46-4DCB-8FDC-2D3B5C4841ED.jpegF5198FF9-5DF3-499B-87AB-B6E785049772.jpeg
