It had developed a mechanical buzz. I had it “repaired” but it never stayed in that state for long. I resolved that it would remain a pretty but broken doorstop. But the transport buzz ended up being mechanical in nature. It’s playing flawlessly now.What was the fix? New laser pickup, or new mechanism/drive, or something else entirely?

Sad thing is. I hate that Rug. One of those it looked better in the store buys. The initial pictures of the speakers and seeing them in person was also very surprising.Those speakers are way bigger than they were in my head.
