I read it to be more of a system paradigm shift than a physical move, although physically moving around big-ass power amps is a move in and of itself.
Very much so…on all counts.
These amps are industrial Art….
Trying the Scepter F1’s with the Stax.
But I definitely prefer the Monitors with them.
The F1’s however are involved in a torrid love affair with the Onkyo A-G10, which is fine with me. That combination sounds like they were made for one another.

These will help tremendously and save my poor back. Think a refinish is in order for a fall project.
So this is the end of the road for this room. I have given up my basement space for the greater good of the rest of the house and am in the process of swapping rooms. New Room means new criteria and a change in thinking. I have a lot in motion and will reveal more as things solidify and I have things in order. Will start a new thread as this chapter is closed.
