Covid put a dead stop to my volunteering efforts: LVAS and Democratic party. And sadly, is still a concern for me. I'm pretty convinced I contracted covid at least once each year from 2020 on. Even with the vaccines.
I'm not that afraid of dying from it, but it sure sets back my fitness efforts so in reality I would need to think long and hard before attending indoor meetings again.

Ok, I understand. I’ve not altered my lifestyle because of covid or previous years of virulent flu seasons. Just some reasonable caution and common sense. I also put a lot of effort into my diet, lifestyle and supplements, so I’m comfortable being out and about.
 
Oh I can say I do also put good effort. Been a vegetarian (95%) for 50 years, fitness nut for most of that time (runner, rower, etc). Did the vacciines. But for whatever reason - possibly due to a bout with pnumonia when burning the candle at both ends when I was younger, Covid set me back a few times. In 2019 I did over 1 million meters on my rower, but since Covid not even close to that unfortunately. Being over 70 also is probably not an advantage when it comes to covid...

It’s interesting how each of us can take different paths to good health. I’m focused on keto…high (good) fat and high protein and carbs that are medium or preferably low on the glycemic index. Goal is to lose a little external body fat and then subcutaneous body fat as well. Am off two RX meds and haven’t felt this good in years.
That’s a lot of strokes on that rowing machine! 😅 i am active, but should exercise. But I think about exercising, so maybe I’m half way there already 🤔
