Hello everybody,
I'm a fan of the highest quality music.
I switched from surround to pure stereo pleasure 2.3 years ago.
I have built a good sounding HIFI chain with German devices from the small German manufacturer AVM.
The chain consists of a CD with DAC, an analog preamplifier and 2 monoblocks and 2 reference speakers from ELAC, also a German company.
I occasionally use a Pioneer LX-800 (similar to oppo).
Ripping SACDs is unfortunately not possible with this ...
I prefer streaming from PC with JRiver, foobar or maybe roon in the future.
I stream from a small music PC with itx board on a benchtable in transparent acrylic and an open case.
The connection to the DAC is made via a Matrix H Element USB card on a PCIe slot.
The matrix card is externally supplied with clean electricity via a high-quality DC LPSU.
Luckily for me, I still lack the possibility to rip my own SACDs to hard disk, as iso or DST / DFF or DSD / DSF or whatever.
Fortunately, I came across this wonderful forum, where I found all the information I needed.
On Monday or Tuesday I will get a used Sony BDP-S7200, which I hope I can rip.
First of all thank you very much for all the information ....
Now I have another question:
Mikey has already shown me the link for:
sacd_extract-WINDOWS-v0.3.9@setmind_git_2019-03-21.
I have already downloaded the GUI under Java and extract.exe.
I have already downloaded the stand-alone solution - i.e. without a PC connection - e.g. the AutoScript folder.
But where can I find the files for the USB stick if I want to use the server solution, i.e. with Java GUI and extract.exe?
I haven't understood that yet.
I get the Sony including USB stick with all the necessary files for the server solution, but Mikey said it would be better if I reformatted the stick and took exactly the files that are current and from this forum.
Where can I find the files for the USB stick and server solution?
Many thanks to everyone and to this great forum !!
