Does Mother Earth provide links we can plug into our players to stream? I tried this but doesn't work

I guess I should have re-listed those URLs for the FLAC streams given the original posts about them in this thread date back to 2021, and again in 2022 when the 2 additional stations were added.

I've bolded the FLAC stream URLs in the above quoted post as unlike the compressed streams which end in AAC and MP3, it isn't necessarily obvious at a glance which ones are the hi-res FLAC streams.

Also worth mentioning that Volumio users don't need to add the URLs manually, just install and enable the Mother Earth Radio plugin for Volumio, which has the added benefit of metadata and album art too.

They have a number of releases now, and have started an internet radio station to help "spread the word" about their products.

Great stuff there! Thanks! But, unless I’m missing something, playing directly from the URL there’s no info about what’s playing. Do I have to play directly from the player on the home page to find that info?

I haven't tried it yet. I'll give it a go later on and see if I get the same results.

Mother Earth Radio out of Germany added a 4th station, called Mother Earth Jazz, back in October. This station is really a mashup of all things jazzy, and not just straight ahead jazz, a good thing in my book.



All four Mother Earth streams are now available in 24-bit/192kHz FLAC, or in lossy AAC/MP3 for mobile users looking to save on data.

I'm digging this stream a lot this morning. Not that I'm a big fan of record pops and scratches but, I like the rest of the recordings!

Recently found this stream. Example play list looked great. Eclectic mix with a focus on local Michigan artists. Today a bit skewed for all local artist for shop local Saturday.

They have an app, but took them a couple days to get me a URL. Enjoying this mix.
