Since we have a couple of posts related to the black and white image I see no reason not to have a thread devoted to it. So let's see your subject matter in glorious black and white.

We took a short vacation to New Mexico last week and on our way back from Taos we pulled into a mini-mart somewhere between Hernandez and Española and I saw this dog sitting and staring at me from the bed of a Polaris UTV. I grabbed my camera from the back seat and took three photos. Just then a young man came out of the mini-mart and as he was getting into his UTV I asked him what his dog's name was. "Danny" he replied. I loved the look Danny was giving me.

works for me -- some gen-u-ine film images taken last fall by me using a Nikon F, some Tri-X, and a peculiar, very early Nikon AF 80 mm lens (for film cameras) that is one of the very few legacy lenses that is 100% incompatible with a Nikon DSLR body!

My son (the mathematician/photographer) kindly got the film processed & scanned for me over the Holidays last year.

How are you liking the Nikon F? My girlfriend has one and we've been thinking about getting it going. I don't know if she's ever used it.
