Hi Everyone,
Offering up for sale my JBL 328CT drivers. I had them in 1 cubic foot boxes, built using the specs for the Ojas Art Bookshelf speaker.
I spent a lot of time trying some tweaks to the design, putting in and removing attenuators, doing, reversing, re-doing the horn mod, trying different horns, etc…so the boxes aren’t in the greatest condition. The drivers are fully functional and cosmetically clean though.
I stripped them off the ceiling-mount baffle they come on, removed the giant piece of metal on the back of the basket the crossovers are mounted on, and removed the transformers.
They’re basically ready for another avid DIYer to use in another pair of speakers.
Happy to take $500 for the pair. I’ll even throw in a pair of the Dayton horns for free. Buyer pays for shipping, which is extra. Local pickup in the Southern California, Inland Empire area is welcome, and will be rewarded with an offer of the cabinets for free as well.
