Glad I found group love my Kestrels original owner. Purchased from Acoustic Image in Los Angeles in the 90's might have to make another Meadowlark investment.

Yea I just went to his site I had a few discussions with him back in the day. I am telling you the Kestrels still sound amazing hard to beat.
I highly suggest if you can get your hands on a pair well worth it.

As much as I loved my Kestrels, the Shearwaters were even better!

I had a pair of Kestrel HRs and then moved up to the HR Shearwaters. I agree with our PM: the Shearwaters are better in all aspects. They are still my speakers to this day and I still love their sound!
