I too saw Paul back around '90 touring in support of Flowers in the Dirt. Excellent show, excellent album. That particular cd is one of my "go-to's" when assessing system performance. Very well recorded with lots of different moods and styles and the songs are simply great...especially all the non-singles which are hidden gems.
It took me a few years to get over being pissed at him. I was in line at 3 in the morning in a fall day in 1989 waiting for tickets to go on sale at 9:30. This was going to be the last time he played any Beatles tunes, so I wanted to have one final listen. That didn't quite work out that way....
It must have been 1990 when I saw him in Milwaukee, WI at the Brewers Stadium. Linda was still alive and playing with the band. One of the best shows I've ever been too in a large venue. Great showmanship and he looked like he was genuinely having fun singing all of this tunes. Enjoy the concert.
