Yeah for $300 they are tempting. I just don't like vinyl wrap, even if it isn't black ash. It can look nice, it's just a sticking point in my brain. Speakers should be painted or veneered. Trouble is these days to get a set of bookshelf speakers that aren't wrapped in vinyl, ends up well beyond doorway pricing.

I have an intense allergy to fake wood. If I actually had a use for a pair of these they'd be in black.
