Casting a line here; any recommendations on a good crossover?

My 2 cents. If your going with an 802 and 416, why reinvent the wheel? My first impulse would be to build a Model 19 crossover. Personally, I’d go with the Z19 that was designed by Zilch.

That would be a bad idea; this means I would end up wanting to build a set of cabinets like those for myself! I honestly thought pretty hard about it because initially I didn’t like the idea of having a separate sub woofer. (Don’t ask me why I am building a set of stereo subwoofers).
Oh, if you know someone with a push pull 6v6 push/pull amp please give it a try before considering subwoofers. My HK A300 floored me!

Dry fitted the pieces and quite happy with what I am seeing. A little finessing is in order to tighten up the miters, which will help reduce clamp usage. Worked on book matching the panels also (had cut them with the intent to veneer them initially).

I stayed fairly close to the original iconic specs but there is slight variation in original build cabinets. Depending on how these sit horn height, I may add a skirt or legs...

Small update; I finally scored a decent priced set of 416‘s (Z’s actually which are more efficient than later versions) and they are on their way to Bill. The next update will be glued up cabinets.
I am considering making wood horns in place of the 3D print ones, more to come.

This will be an exciting fedex/ups week; half of the crossover bits arrived today, the rest will ship from Canada tomorrow and the 416Z’s should arrive from GPA Thursday. Pretty stoked!

Got to gluing up one of the boxes minus the face. Pretty excited to dive all in on this project and get it finished (once the subs are done).

How are these going, any progress to report? What crossover are you using? I have a friend doing the same but with my old 414zs
