Much wood for a Class A amp? They need a lot of/large heatsinks! I remember I read som articles in Hifi-magazines many years ago. Hiraga used batteries and many many microFarads in the power supply. Hope you got new heatsinks!

Beautiful! I went with metal. I think it sounds good, but prefer 2a3 SE.
