LMS and Squeezelite for Raspberry Pi

Quick update on this instance of 64-bit pCP running LMS on an RPi 4B 8GB board.

I've had it up and running for several days 24/7, the only interruption being my switching it first from Ethernet to a USB WiFi dongle, and then switching again from the USB WiFi dongle to the RPi 4B's onboard WiFi. Each change resulted in the LMS getting a new IP address assignment from my router which was fully expected.

It's run flawlessly through that set of changes, both in accessing local server tracks with the Squeezer app for Android, and also both Qobuz and the Radio Paradise FLAC stream, which renders with both metadata and album art.

This is an excellent free open source music server for the inexpensive Raspberry Pi platform, able to stream to any existing Squeezebox endpoints, or in my case Moode endpoints with the Squeezelite renderer enabled.

Is anyone aware of any sound quality differences between picoreplayer and Moode?
I'm not but I've so far only used pCP in LMS mode, and not as an endpoint.

That said, they probably use the same version of Squeezelite and so should be quite similar, but it's easy and cheap to compare for yourself, just get another microSD card and flash Moode onto it, you don't have to wipe your instance of pCP, save that card off to the side and give Moode a try for a while and see what you think.

I installed Moode on my rpi4, and I have a few questions/comments:

1. If I enable the Squeezelite renderer it works flawlessly with LMS, but I do not get the benefit of equalization using the native Moode player

2. I enabled the LMS uPnp plugin, which has worked correctly for me in the past, and I was not successful in connecting Moode to LMS. I tried multiple times - sometimes the Moode interface would not show any folders under library, and once it showed an "Album" folder but then it disappeared. I suspect I may have corrupted something, and I ended up reflashing the microSD card and re-installing Moode.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the native Moode player (not the Squeezelite renderer) work with LMS via the uPnp plugin (or any other method)?
