Loaded up my first roll of film in a very long time…

…and even longer if we’re talking 120…..



Stripped this thing down to the shutter blades…got my first test roll loaded…so far so good…fingers crossed that it works!!

How did you calibrate the shutter speeds after re-assembly?

There’s just a dial with various sections cut out that rotates around the lens that engages and disengages a mechanical timer delay and various springs. I assume, that you get everything clean and working smoothly that it will operate as intended. There really isn’t any adjustment, at least to this circa 1949 shutter.

I didn’t do any disassembly to the winding mechanism or the focusing gears.

My film took the slow route to the Darkroom in California for processing, but it looks like it works!
